The Estate Argyros was founded in 1903 by Georgios Argyros, in a 5-acre vineyard located in Episkopi Gonia Thiras (Santorini). Georgios Argyros made his wines according to the traditional Santorinian way to take advantage of the grapes produced by his own vineyard. The person who significantly changed the image of the winery was the nephew of the founder, Yiannis Argyros, who has been running the wine cellar since 1974.
