Langhe - Piemont

Langhe is the hilly subregion east from Tanaro River and south of Alba, in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont. The name "Langhe" is the plural form “langa”, a local word describing a a long downhill. A Langhe DOC wine can be red, white or rose, from the mixture or individual tipe of grapes. It can be quiet, frizzante, novello (a youthful style) or passito (made from dried grapes).
