At Ktima Gerovassiliou the vineyard is cultivated with great care and enthusiasm, which leads V. New technological advances combine well with tradition throughout the processes of cultivation and winemaking of vines.
Sauvignon Blanc is a white-wine grape from western France, now successfully grown in emerging and established wine regions all over the world. The geographical spread and versatility of Sauvignon Blanc means that it is found in a range of styles from classic dry white wines; to individual, highly aromatic international interpretations; to unctuously sweet, botrytised wines.
Macedonia produces wines from an area composed of about 22,400 acres of vineyards. Also, 30,000 acres of vineyards are entirely dedicated to table grapes. Red wine dominates macedonian wine production with a staggering 80% and, within the European Union, "Macedonia" has protected geographical indication (PGI) for wines produced in the Greek wine region of Macedonia.
