Malgra Winery is located in Mombaruzzo, the heart of the Monferrato region, near Asti, a land of charm abounded by the colors and aromas of its viticulture. The history of the winery begins with two families of winegrowers, Bonfante and Chiarle for whom the world of vineyards and wines became their priority from the start. In the first phase, they cultivated the vineyards only for the purpose of selling the grapes, a practice transmitted from one generation to another, and then became wine producers also. Malgra comes from a popular term used to describe a person as "sui generis", a visionary and a little dreamy person, almost clairvoyant, in a deep connection with the earth and especially with its riches, which come to life through the craft of people. Among these riches is wine.
