The true treasure of Frapin Cognac, Chateau Fontpinot XO is presented in a refined and elegant bottle. This very old reserve XO can claim the name Chateau, as it is made exclusively from grapes harvested, distilled, aged and bottled at Chateau Fontpinot. Artisanal distillation on lees and a long ageing in dry cellars give it a special character.

Colour:

Chateau Fontpinot XO reveals a beautiful golden-orange autumn colour with warm reflections.

Aroma:

This XO cognac is the result of a long ageing in dry cellars, which gives it a delicate, complex, refined, long-lasting bouquet of candied fruit aromas (dried apricots, dried figs), marzipan, hazelnuts, nougat, then notes of port and, finally, the famous "rancio" character.

Taste:

Balanced, rich and complex on the palate, with dried fruit and candied fruit flavours and an exceptionally long finish. Add a splash of water to Chateau Fontpinot XO to let the flavours breathe and to sweeten the strength of the cognac.

Serving suggestion:

When paired with a chocolate dessert it reveals aromas of vanilla and wood. Paired with a dark chocolate macaroon or a praline mousse with three types of chocolate it will satisfy the pickiest of gourmets. Combined with Mimolette, Parmesan, sheep's cheese or blue cheese it will surprise with its long and aromatic finish.
