Manufacturer
Ktima Biblia Chora

Ktima Biblia Chora is located in the village of Kokkinochori, Kavala, in northern Greece. It was founded by parishioners Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Vangelis Gerovassiliou who planted the first organic vineyard of the estate at the foot of Mount Pangeon in 1998. Today, the 57-hectare vineyard, which is privately owned, surrounds the modern wine cellar, where all the wines produced have special properties.

Type of Grape
Semillon

Sémillon is one of the wine world's unsung heroes. The gold-skinned grape produces France's most famous and revered sweet wines. When vinified, sweet wine made from Sémillon can take on a multitude of flavors, particularly stonefruit such as apricot, peach, nectarine and mango, with secondary notes of citrus, nut and honey. The wine's most remarkable feature is its silken texture, caused by the concentration of sugar and glycerol.

Assyrtiko

One of Greece's top white varieties, Assyrtiko is best-known as the flagship grape of Santorini, producing crisp white wines. It has developed a reputation as being a versatile grape variety. Wines are made in a multitude of styles, from fresh, minerally white wines to rich, nutty dessert wines .

The region
Drama

Drama is a wine-producing area of Greece, more precisely in the region of East Macedonia and Thrace.  There is a strong presence of international grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. There are also plantations of native Greek varieties such as Assyrtico and Robola. The regional name (equivalent to Vin de Pays / French PGI) of PGI Drama is considered one of the best in Greece.
