Kahlua is a unique liqueur with a fascinating history that began in 1936, when the idea of combining young rum with Arabica coffee was conceived, resulting in a drink with a strong coffee flavour. To produce this quality liqueur, the coffee is sourced from a specialised farm dedicated exclusively to producing Kahlua coffee, where the Arabica beans are treated with the greatest care from harvest to roasting.
After the beans are perfectly roasted they are blended with rum and left to rest for four weeks in oak barrels to obtain their characteristic aroma and taste. Finally, the liqueur is carefully bottled, following the Kahlua philosophy that "good things come to those who wait".
