The Union de Producteurs de Saint-Émilion is a cooperative wine group in Bordeaux that produces a range of red wines. They are mainly based on Merlot grapes, which come from 1850 acres of vineyards Saint-Émilion and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. At the begginings there were only six member estates, but today there are almost 170, and the Union is responsible for about 12% of all production in Saint-Émilion. Union de Producteurs has an extensive portfolio of brands and separately vinified wines, including the castles of: Le Loup, Viramiere and Galius. The company's annual production reaches 4,600,000 bottles.
